No MD win so far this year, I believe

. To gain some points and wins, maybe she should consider to play some ITF's soon. She has not had the easiest draws so far, but it brings her not further on the ranking back to Top 100.

She's playing Monterrey this year instead of Charleston. Good idea on paper, but she's drawn Kirilenko in the second round, so winning one match means she'll still lose points from last year if she goes down to Maria.

Twelve DFs and was broken 7/15 times.

Interesting stat for Vera, she only won one MD match in the last 12 months (US open R1) and all her remaining points by winning a match she has are from qualifying draws. And still she is ranked in the top 200. From that persepctive it is pretty impressive. But her last lost must have hurt, a year ago she would not have lost such a match. She will be playing ITF's shortly, she is on the EL for a 50K in Turkey, starting April 22nd. No guarantees, but I think it is a good idea, some wins under the belt could give her some confidence again and match practise, she would need it.

Hardly noticed, but Bepa played a match yesterday, at the 50K in Istanbul. She was unlucky with the draw once more, she drew 3rd seed Daniilidou, but she managed to win! First MD win since USO. Let's see if she can go do in this one. Good luck, Bepa
