I'm sure she's up there, but as for the best, it's hard to say. There's very little information provided about this record. I searched the WTA site for left-handers and all the articles that came up were about Kvitova or Benesova or Schnyder winning... and they don't seem to have any other 'Stat corners' on records vs. lefties.

To be successful against left-handers you have to be good strategy on the court and super solid technique because those lefty spins can be a nightmare if you aren't prepared atleast that's what I've been told. I'm sure Justine, Clijsters and Serena are at the top of those stats!

Schnyder, Safarova (even though she might have leading H2H, always a struggle), Bammer () ..

I wouldn't doubt it at all. Although it probably should be noted that there hasn't really been any impressive left hand player except maybe outside of Schnyder if we want to be generous. 1990s had Seles, 1970s and 1980s had Navratilova and I guess 2010s will have Kvitova. 2000s? No standouts.

Why not? lol. None of the current top lefties will ever be half the player Seles was. The only ones that does have a chance would be Kvitova and possibly other up and comings like Robons maybe (although her movement is atrocious that it'll probably lead to her underachieving).

Anyway, Kvitova's groundies were extremely solid throughout the stretch of this year's Wimbledon, and only lost a set against both Pironkova and Azarenka because her level took a huge nosedive for a set. If her groundies wasn't as solid as it was, I doubt she would've won the title this year.
