Third set looks better in quality (both playing better). She shows some touch, with drop shots and some nice slices, which touch the inside of the lines. Every once in a while she hits a moonball or something to change the rhythm.
It's like when they're both playing well (end of the second, start of the third) Ana has the upper hand. She demoralizes her opponent with a lot of winners... So I would actually say that Polona really won on experience.. Some really nice points, she's quite fast and reaches a lot of balls but probably she could improve in this area.
Commentators are still
her :lol:Saying she has a mentality like Djokovic (they even compared one return to his lol), not thinking about errors, just playing point by point when she's behind. They also said that she has Lisicki's power, but uses her head better  they say she's never brainless but always constructs points, looking for an opening. "And her backhand is top20". Her forehand is not as controlled and she's not as comfortable hitting the lines.
When she goes down 0-30 (like she often did in that Radwanska match), she starts attacking even more, which is what saves her a lot of break points :yeah:
She got broken when Polona's ball hit the top of the net
One bad thing is she missed 3 consecutive bps
even though Polona saved them with putting all of her first serves in. So overall she doesn't have problems with saving BPs, rather with using them.
Imo she'd totally win junior RG playing like this if she weren't as fatigued  but that's just me
I'm seriously impressed, she looks so mature and doesn't get worked up when she makes an error.
A nice experience for her.. The match took a bit over two hours
In the interview she said that she got a qwc for Australia next year. And this year she might play the European championships if it fits in her schedule.
