I've probably been following WTA before you were born, and trust me when i say when you bet on tennis as much as i do you have to know at least your top 300. I don't know what mediocre means for you, are you saying Witthoeft is a sure top 10 in the near future ? Not that i would be completely surprised (for god sake Errani is there so anything is possible) but i see her more like a stable top 30-50 in the future.

Really bummed for her, she must be feeling awful right now  Hopefully at least this problem with her shoulder will be resolved appropriately now so that she can continue down her career path without any physical issues.

Girls that Ana was beating in juniors have a lot of great wins lately. Siniakova (who she defeated in all 3 tournamets she won beat Minella in Miami QR1), Kiick(ana beat her 60 61 in Melbourne) def. Vecino in Miami and Townsend won in IW against Hradecka.

Good point. This either means that Ana's generation is really awesome, or that a few of the previous ones were atrocious. I believe it's a little bit of both
