Re: Dinah Pfizenmaier

Unbelievably lucky quali draw makes up for strange
tournament selection or whatsoever from Pfizenmaier.

Every time watching Pfizenmaier I am asking myself why isn't this girl
competing for a Top50 spot? Come on, her tennis talent is so much head and shoulders above the 100s ranks.

Germans are well known for being world champions with their organisation and efficiency skills. Why are all their top female tennis players such talent wasters?
(Except Beck)

Re: Dinah Pfizenmaier

Sorry but you seem to have an entirely wrong perspective of her, probably because you have only seen her play on clay at the big tournaments. Dinah's scheduling is actually really smart, she knows how to work around her weaknesses.

Dinah is most capable on clay and tries to get most of their points there. Her game is much less suited to hard court which is the surface the majority of WTA tournaments is being played on. That is not working in her favor and I think she has realized by now, I wouldn't bank on her making the Q final here despite the draw.

Dinah is a clay player first and foremost and her pre-RG scheduling was one of the smartest decisions I have seen a player take in a longer while. That is certainly not her problem, her problem is that there are too few WTA-level clay tournaments.

Looks not very well for her: 04 back in the third vs Honcova

Retires at 1-5
