Boy Marion is a good first strike player. Such a good eye on the return. Julia did well to absorb that one.

That's the way. Once she's pushed off the baseline Marion is in big trouble.
Marion will hit quite a few DFs today the way she's going for it.

It's so easy for Julia to miss that first shot after the serve when Marion returns so well. And Julia is not making enough first serves.
Julia must serve better and do not miss the first shot after the serve, even if you have to defend it. Any time the rally prolongs it's good for Julia.
Second serve is getting eaten up.

Julia rarely beats any good players by serving like this, not to mention Bartoli.
