It's the first time I've seen Naiktha play since the Australian Open against Khromacheva, she's definitely improved. Her forehand is such a big weapon and her backhand is more solid than I remember.
The power that she possesses on her forehand is really incredible, in a few years time once she gets a bit stronger it's going to be huge.
She just needs to improve her consistency a bit, she was erratic at times. But she's still only 14, she's going to be a very good player.
Her results this year were a bit up and down but I think that's just due to inconsistency, she definitely has the weapons and the potential. I think it'll take a couple more years for her game to come together so we just need to be patient.
her forehand is already massive! the first set she must have been nervous, but in the second she played much better. her game was pretty entertaining to watch too, especially in the second, which is always a good thing
