Re: First time they lost to a younger player

Doesn't look like anyone will challenge the record anytime soon. The oldest players to have never lost to a younger player (I think they are Ormaechea, Diyas and Davis) have never even played a younger player, so...

This is a list of how many times they defeated a younger player before losing to one:

Navratilova: 29
Graf: 22
Wozniacki: 18
Serena: 16
Sharapova: 15
Clijsters: 13
Evert: 12
Szavay: 12
Jaeger: 11
Azarenka: 9
Temesvari: 7
Kvitova: 6
Hingis: 6
Wickmayer: 6
Peng: 5
Majoli: 4
Seles: 4
Pennetta: 4
Austin: 4
Li: 3
Zheng: 3
Kournikova: 2
Henin: 2
Paszek: 1
Karatantcheva: 1
Lisicki: 1
Capriati: 0
McNeil: 0
Garrison: 0
Venus: 0
Kuznetsova: 0
Davenport: 0
Ivanovic: 0
Golovin: 0
Vaidisova: 0
Dementieva: 0
