Iveta is focused, concentrated and motivated and feels comfortable right now - a combination which is perfect and not the average rule in her former seasons. The singles matches showed some strategical cleverness, esthetical perfection and a good condition. Australia always has been a good place for her, so the prospects are fine. I feel very positive about the crowded czech run for the Olympics. A good time for fellow fans, and most of all a even better time for Iveta.

Iveta beat Peng 62 64 to extend her H2H to 3-0. She played really well - so many flashy winners from both wings and good serving at important moments too.

Iveta is staying busy in Australia, right on  !
Next up: Nina Bratchikova (RUS), who's for the first time in a Slam MD, but has dismantled youngsters like Karo Pliskova, Yuli Beygelzimer, and outlasted veterans like Eleni D. and Pennetta. We'll see. Best of luck, Iveta !
