Well, one thing we know for sure (considering a most recent GM title): Petra almost definitely weighs more than Lucie Safarova.

I don't think we have to think about that one too long. However, I would agree, the white vest doesn't do her any justice. Petra looked better in the event room, with out the vest (in both a fashion and body sense).

It's funny; I thought Tomas Berdych looked the coolest. And he had an athletic hoodie on.

I know pictures can be very deceiving guys. Nonetheless I'm going to bring this up: Petra looks bigger than normal (look at her legs and upper body compared to Safarova). I've seen other pictures between the two, where the discrepancy doesn't appear so large.

I had also heard someone on GM mention (not always the most reliable source), that she looked out of shape. And I must admit (if these pictures are representative), she does here.

That new Fitness guy, may have his work cut out.

Well, she's got a month.

She looks the same as she did in Istanbul. To me, at least.

Also - how come she has that same blazer in both white and black? how come there's two of that and not two of the Czech Lioness earrings? (A much better fashion choice. )

Yeah, the Extraliga pictures aren't too far off Istanbul, though she looks a little soft and slighter heavier (maybe 5 lbs).

Most importantly, she didn't do any heavy training this winter, so we have to watch her stamina and game plans going into 2013 in hot ass Australia?

Yeah; minus the pouch, she certainly looks thin enough in those Weston Resort pics (is she in Australia already, I'm presuming)?

The question is: What type of shape is she in (see guys, that's why looks can be deceiving). And is she really going to have that (ahem) new MMA/Wrestling/Safarova's Ex, as her Fitness coach, and how soon will he be with her? I'll still believe if/when I see it (and if they can make the entire year together).

Yes!: I hope she surprises all of us (including her competitors) this year, as well?

Oh God, I hope she has a good 2013. I can't decide if I think it's going to be an awful repeat of this year, or if she's going to surprise everyone and make it the second Year of Petra instead of the Year of Serena. (Year of Serena is great, and I know she's the GOAT and all, but I still can't stop being pissed she beats my favorites. )
