Wimbeldon -cheering treat
great draw for shahar !
Ksenia Pervak from russia #89 who never passed the first round in GS, a young lefty player who has no experience..
next (if and when) parmentier (#75,1-0 h.2.h to peer) or cristea (#81,2-0 h.2.h for peer)

Re: Wimbeldon -cheering treat
Yes it is, and in a different time I'd say even the potential R3 and R4 match-ups are okay, but in her current form nothing can be taken for granted.
I assume you meant "thread" in the title, let's hope it would be a treat

Re: Wimbeldon -cheering treat
Yes, it was: 7-5 4-6 4-6
New low. Nothing constitutes a good draw for her atm.

Not when you make 50 Unforced errors in a match.

it isn't over.. shahar is still in 2 categories: mixed doubles with erlich (i think they play toghter for the race to the olympics next year..) today they'll play vs. Zelenay&Uhlirova
in woman's doubles (ladie's) she is playing with cara black. and they'll play vs Kops-Jones &Spears

Re: Wimbeldon -cheering treat
she is sill in both:
today she'll play 3rd round ladies doubles vs srebotnik&peschek (#2 in the world) ,shahar is the less experienced in doubles in the court (her partner won 5 GS in doubles, srebotnik lost in four finals of GS, and her partner was in 1 final and lost but she ranks 6 in the world , shahar was 14 in the world and lost in 1 final)
in mixed they'll play tomorrow vs unranked brithis pair or the 10th seeds (they upsets the 5th already!)

Re: Wimbeldon -cheering treat
Of course tons of drama in the last game when Shahar is serving for the match. Saved 5 bps, down 0-40 and faced 2 more then on deuce #3 Shahar hits an AMAZING FH DTL winner to set up MP and Yoni got the volley put away. Through to the MXD QF with a 6-4, 7-5 victory.
