For the record I'm doing this thread at the request of others and NOT because of an agenda . Inspired by Lebron James' loss in tonight's NBA championship, I thought it might be interesting in hearing how many tennis programs struggle under the big lights. My frame of reference is really limited to the Big West so I will start it off with the UCI Anteaters results during the past ten years.

2002 - Lose in the Big West Championship final to LBSU
2004 - Lose in the finals to LBSU
2006 - Lose in the finals to LBSU
2008 - Lose in the finals to LBSU
2009 - Lose in the finals to LBSU
2010 - Win* in the finals vs LBSU
2011 - Lose in the finals to LBSU

So UCI participates in the championship match 7 times and loses 6 of them, winning percentage of 14%. Interested in hearing about other teams with similar results.

How many other teams at 14% played a girl in a cast and then the poor girl missed 50 weeks of play while recovering from the damage done?

Mid May 2010 to last week of April 2011 before said athlete was allowed to even hit with a racquet. Not making this one up... fact.
