It's a better result than when she played her in Rome though

And she did really well to qualify.
Next week, Karin will play in Mestre. Hope she'll play a few big challengers, perhaps even WTA qualies (*cough*Luxembourg) in the rest of the year - keep testing herself against better opponents.

I finally watched her today. She played well

Especially in the first set. 2nd set as well, but she complicated things for herself

Eleni had played well in the 1st 2 rounds, and I was afraid her slice and variation would hurt Karin, but none of that

Niculescu could trouble her, but if she keeps it together, I don't see why she couldn't win a round.
