Re: Selection Show

agree not a big deal. i thought amal was asking a serious question not making a joke. seriously, why would any transfer from UVA........great school, tennis and coach. anyway, i could imagine how 'dying' would answer her question so i was looking for what the heck you meant.........still don't see how dying explains someone transfering to UF where they probably wouldn't play, etc, etc.

Can get a great education at both. Maybe she wanted sunshine, or to play for a coach and program that competes for national titles. When she transferred, who knew Florida would get Will and Embree? Who knows why she transfered, but she did. UVA is a great school, but Florida isn't chopped liver. Top 20 public. UF offers a lot of majors, maybe they have a better program for Claire than UVA did?

Those are all great reasons to play for UF..........but she ain't playing nor would you expect her to with the existing lineup and recruits that were in the pipeline when she transferred. My puzzlement was over the word "dy. ing" = makes no sense in the context of amal's question.

I dunno, but it's the same as in WCC championship.

Moore did play #6 singles and Walters did play #3 doubles. And yes Oates didn't play either in singles
and doubles. Dunno, maybe injury? Oh I do have sources at Pepp Will check it out
sorry, the 'source' was unreliable, received nothing

Well an article stated that Claire has had a back injury. Noelle Hickey eventually went to UCLA from GT partly because of her major.
