That G1 in Germany which starts next week - Iva is currently 5th alternate. Hope she can sneak into qualies until this weekend. The good thing is that she won't have to rely on that 450 entry ranking for much longer.

She's just 3rd alternate now.
The crazy thing is that Iva's ranking has improved so much in recent weeks that if she manages to squeeze into qualies she'll be the top seed

playing a G2 in Hungary right now. crushed the number 8 seed (ranked 152) 6-0 6-2 in the first round 
also advanced in doubles

Looks like she won't be playing Wimbledon cause she's not on the entry list, and I have a feeling she couldn't use good enough of an entry ranking for it anyway, which I analyzed a bit in post #24 of this thread.

Btw, the third seed in Hungary (#97 on the junior rankings) got just 3 games against Iva and she's now through to the semis  There she'll play a qualifier ( ) Siniakova, who is currently at her best ever ranking of 140. This sure looks like a chance, but considering this girl got so far starting from qualies, it probably won't be easy. Two unseeded players will battle it out for the other place in the finals.

^ Wow, two stunningly good results for Iva this week, losing just two games against #152 in the world and three against #97. And both are about a year older than Iva
Iva will reach a new CH ranking next week around 130. If she wins her SF today, it'll be around 110. A top-100 ranking should be just around the corner. |

Well, I see no one noticed it, but this year Siniakova already beat Iva, at Radenci 2011 (in SF on carept in February) and it was 6-1 6-0! So, considering that match , I think it would be surprise if Iva wins today!  |
