H2H looks very promising, but Johanna was outside top 200 then, so she can probably put up more resistance now.

WOW 6-1, 6-1 in under an hour. ZERO doubles faults (  is this a first?) and unbroken until the last game (of course she couldn't resist a mini-choke  ). Absolutely incredible, she definitely missed clay and has picked up right where she left off last year in Budapest and Prague.

Hopefully she is playing tomorrow. Either singles or doubles.
EDIT: Her doubles opponents haven't played yet and I doubt they will make Barthel/Kuzzie play after having a long match at the end of the day so Thursday will probably be double duty  .

Ugh Kuzzie won. At least it will be televised, but I will probably be in class then .
Kuzzie certainly displayed her vulnerability, and considering her shitty performance in Auckland it's clear she doesn't play well in small events. The head-to-head doesn't do Ági justice either as she looked set to beat Sveta in the New Haven final in 2007. She certainly has a shot, so good luck Ági  .

They are playing tomorrow after all  last on Pista Centrale. I end class at about 12 (this time) so assuming the earlier matches aren't blowouts I should be able to watch  .

wow Ági is doing great so far!Looks like she really missed clay 
But,sadly,Kuznetsova is next.She is far from her best,but she owns Agi.Though I think she stands a chance.After all,it´s time to break the trend this year:so far she has lost her two r2 she´s played,and both were against Russians(AK,AP).Now,in her 3rd straight tournament of the year,she has a chance to avenge that.May the 3rd be the good one |
