Re: SEC Women Tennis 2011

Garcia wins 7-5 3-6 6-3! Georgia wins 4-2!!!

That was quite a battle, and Mia was falling apart after that 2nd set, so glad that Silvia stepped up and won those last 3 games, despite her opponent's dubious injury time out. Rest up for tomorrow, DAWGS!!

Predictions for TAMU/UF 2.0? I'd be surprised if UF lost again.

Agreed, think Florida will take it. Interestingly, Collins was in the lineup last time for Florida, and she actually won her match, so I'm curious to see how Caroline in there instead might change things.

Selfishly, I want Georgia to have another shot at Florida, this time with Ayaka

You mean lose to USC in the final?

But UF singles are strong enough..

Anyway, I'm not sure UGA can beat UF without Craft. Okuno just lost, so.. dbls is a must win for UGA of course, and #1 sgls will be pretty interesting.

Do you think Ayaka has really helped UGA?

Where do you think Craft should be playing in UGA's lineup? King was playing above Craft.

Re: SEC Women Tennis 2011

I think Ayaka and Lily have been a great doubles team, and she has been a pretty reliable win until today. Know she got her ankle worked on in today's match, so hope she's good for tomorrow. I've been impressed with both Craft and King, as well as Garcia, obviously. I think Georgia has the deepest freshman class in the country.

Yea I was going to say, I think UGA has benefited the most form Ayaka being in their doubles lineup. I'm still not convinced that Ayaka and Mia at 5 and 6 is that much better than Mia and Craft at 5 and 6.

Also, let's not forget Ayaka was also going to lose to Maynetto last time UGA/Bama played. Bama is really the only tough match UGA has played with Ayaka. Will be interesting to see how she does tomorrow.

I think Craft at her best is better than Okuno.
Craft actually has beaten Kyle before
She's a big aggressive hitter, so when she's on, could be good.

I completely agree, and she's only had a few matches so far, so she's not really battle tested yet. Agreed with fantic about Craft being great when she's on, but I think Mia is more reliable, at least so far.

Pretty much.

Maybe Brooke Austin could be the savior for the Dawgs if she chooses UGA
