I saw Torsten in the stands for her Mixed match at the US Open so maybe he signed a coaching deal with her. He coached Lisicki for a short period of time before. As doubles specialists they will be touring the same tournaments so why not sign him as a coach? I liked the team with Kveta but I think they realized that they had to rely on both having above standard days in order to win big matches and that just didn't happen often enough. Still a solid partnership but I think both aim for GS titles.
I think a good partner for ALG would be maybe Raymond.
Me too...I dont see who else there is left that is any good...everyone seems to have a partner. So it's worrying she'll end up playing with some singles player or something, and not have a set partner again
Barrois is a really good doubles player and a lot of people underestimate her But i can assure you that they deffo will or can have a permanent partnership since Barrois is still mainly focusing on singles so she'll be mainly found on the ITF circuit.
Barrois is a good player but that would be a massive step backwards she played with Barrois and they had average at best results, she wants to be a top 10 doubles player...I'm not sure that's possible with Barrois. She did better with Martic.
Lucic-Baroni had decent results with Jankovic but I don't think she is that great of a doubles player TBH...
Magdalena Maleeva's last words at her send-off:
"There is a saying that there is no friendship in tennis, but I've proven the opposite. After all of them are here, it means that there is friendship and I want to thank them for being here tonight. I hope the fans are happy too."
