Martic is a very average partner, she can't get her game together in singles, why should she handle the doubles?
ALG goes on with bad doubles partners. Why isn't she playing with Peng, Zheng, Lisicki, Goerges, Peschke, Srebotnik, dunno, all the ones that already had some success in doubles?!? I already see her playing doubs with Malek at Linz/Luxemburg

Thinking back, she is really unlucky that King/Shvedova won a slam just when ALG and King had agreed on a long term partnership. ALG really got injured at a very bad time of her career, having played really well in singles before that and also with a good partner like King.
I agree though, she should find a new partner although I think Martic isn't the worst she has had either...

ALG will play tonight in the Western Conference Championship against the Sacramento Capitals.
If she will play the singles match, she has to play most likely against Vandeweghe.

should be fun! Thousands of errors and double faults...honestly though I hope they win. She and Lindsay are a great team, but I feel like there is so much pressure on her for that singles...she isn't a singles player any more so it's tough.

Einige Wochen sind vergangen und ich bin schon tatsächlich wieder 4 Wochen unterwges! Die Zeit rennt nur so davon! Eigentlich war mein Plan nach den den US Open nach Hause zu fliegen, aber meine Pläne haben sich kurzfristig geändert! Nachdem ich mit Kveat in New Haven zusammen gespielt habe, werde ich ab jetzt mit ihr den Rest vom Jahr zusammen spielen und auch im kommenden Jahr! Das ist natürlich eine grosse Chance für mich und deswegen bin ich gleich hier geblieben und habe zusammen mit ihr in Sarasota trainiert, bevor wir uns am Donnerstag gemeinsam auf den Weg nach Tokio machen werden! Der Endspurt der Saison steht an! Noch 4 Turniere!

She's playing with Peschke the rest of this year and next I hope they do well, that's a good partnership if they can click!

Changing partners is part of the process for many players and Peschke has chosen a new partner in women's doubles for next year. She will be teaming with Anna-Lena Groenefeld, who has won 11 doubles titles and has been ranked as high as No. 14 in singles in 2006. Groenefeld spent time in Sarasota this past week working with Peschke on their doubles strategy.
"We will see how it goes," Peschke said. "It seems very positive. We want to make some more titles."

i hope they do add some titles...if they gel they could win big titles. If not...
