2011/12 NHL Thread
Figured this great league deserved it's own thread.
Pittsburgh on top of the Eastern Conference early, followed by Toronto ( ), whereas in the West it's Dallas the surprise packet with 11 wins from 14 games.
Phil Kessel is the scoring leader with 11 goals and 22 points in 15 games. Go the Kess.
LETS GO RED WINGS!

Re: 2011/12 NHL Thread
Rangers on a 4 game winning streak after a mediocre start. Have big expectations for this year with both Gaborik and Richards, and returning most of a pretty legit defense last season, no excuses anymore. King Henry will keep us in almost every game. Not making the playoffs would be a disaster, and Im finally ready for the playoff run we have continuously fallen short of the last few seasons.

12 does seem ridiculously high. Were there many bad calls or were the Jets undisciplined?

Re: 2011/12 NHL Thread
Didn't see it, but we've got all the ingredients to have a consistently good PP all season.

Re: 2011/12 NHL Thread
Chris Stewart had better get a suspension for his dirty hit on Kronwall. Fortunately Kronwall is okay, but the hit was still dirty and should be punished.
Too bad the Wings played like garbage though.

Buffalo tied with TOR for the Northeast lead (22 pts) with a game in hand as the Leafs lose 3-2 in a SO tonight vs Yotes.

Fair return by Crosby the other day eh? I don’t like the guy, but that was incredible.

Re: 2011/12 NHL Thread
I try and get to as many Pens games as I can a season.
The atmosphere in Consol is crazy, better than any other team I've seen.
So happy to have my boy Crosby back too!

Looks like a very, very impressive arena I must say.
As much as I like the Joe, what with the reported great sightlines from anywhere, we do need a nice new arena.

Re: 2011/12 NHL Thread
Rangers are so legit this year, I love it. Clicking on all cylinders right now. Beat the Caps, Flyers, and Pens back to back to back.
