Thank you for the update;it seems to me that FIFA earns enough profit to pay for adequate security at most events...not exactly rocket science.Even the poorer nations could ask for a donation from the wealthier ones if they lacked funds...one would think........

On a different topic,I've already had a sad morning because someone who's been a dear friend for almost 20 years basically sent me a hateful letter in response to my questioning a political candidate he endorsed.I told him in the initial letter that I agreed with him about how repugnant the other guy was...but he couldn't accept my comments that his candidate was only somewhat better than the jerk...and NOT a moral paragon in his own right.We'll see if he replies to my follow-up letter;if not,then the NON-response will silently speak volumes,I suppose
