Kind of shocking. Zvonareva (3), Sharapova (5), Li (6) and Kvitova (7) all go out on the same day. Obviously Wozniacki (1) and Clijsters (2) are already out.

To the best of my knowledge, Caro and Verdasco were never a couple as much as Verdasco seemed to want that.

Anyways, Caro really should get to Cincinnati asap to adjust to the hot/humid conditions. If she isn't there by tomorrow or early saturday I'd say that's a problem and not a good sign.

why should a sport be exhausting or dangerous? You need different Çualities for different sports. Sports can be about endurance, strenght, coordination, techniÇue or a combination of two or more of these things. Basically any form of competition of which the end result depends on physical activity is a sport, even darts!

As for golf not being exciting, I don't know. It's not one of my favourite sports, but I like it ok. I for one often find teamsports boring - even football (soccer). 90 minutes in which they often score just one or two goals and where 'cheating' is accepted as part of the game. I like basketball though.

Yeah,I agree with both paragraphs above,Protoss,and the 'relationship' mostly existed in FV's dreams...but I still credit Caroline for not getting swept away by him as many OLDER gals have

In case anyone wonders what's going on in Danish tennis besides Wozniacki, I have some refreshing news: 14 year old Emilie Francati won her semi final at the Danish senior championships today and became the youngest finalist since Caroline won the title in 2004! I'm sure Mai Grage, the other finalist, will be merciless in the final, but it's still a great acomplisment by Emilie. She's had a great 2011, and she's improving at a remarkable rate. Congratulations to the youngster.
