What is the one thing you would like to see changed in college tennis
One of my biggest pet peeves is when you’re playing dual matches, finish them out! We see so often with certain programs where they will abandoned the match once a team has won. That's fine in tournament play but I think dual matches should be completed. Granted, it is a team game but it's also an individual game and if you're going to keep individual rankings, it is not fair to players to abandoned the matches before they are finished not to mention the time and money spent traveling to play the match. Just my opinion!

So do you mean finish them out in the sense of playing a full third set and not just to 10 points... or just players abandoning the matches all together?

No I'm saying finish it out like most do it after the match has been decided.

Our guys team defaulted the last 3 matches when we played Texas A & M last night lol The way the match finishes (all 7 or 4 or will it all be 2 out of 3 sets after clinching) is decided before the match.

tennisbuddy, that was the match I was looking at that made me think what the heck is this! They scored it a 4-0 loss. It should be a 7-0 loss. That really surprised me to see Ohio State do that especially when your the No. 5 ranked team in the country.

They were Did Not Finish (DNF), not defaults, I believe. That's why it is 4-0.

I'm sure in this match Jeff Dadamo (TAMU) who was leading, would have loved the opportunity to beat Blaz Rola (Ohio State) the No. 4 player in the country but he never had a chance because the match was abandoned!
No. 55 Jeff Dadamo(TAMU) led No.4 Blaz Rola (Ohio State) 7-6, 3-6, 2-1unfinished
