Awesome Doubles Day!!!!! Sydney Champs Anna and Rezai are back on top! Awesome job Serbian Beauty team Ana Ivanovic and Bojana! Sloane and Anne good job! All my players got a win in singles but all of them lost in the next round. All of my players won a match in doubles and hopefully wont all lose in the second round!

Liezel Huber to Umpire Robson, Cibulkova Hit for Charity!

In a stunning revelation today, Tour favorite, Liezel Huber will umpire a match between Robson and Cibulkova (well. if she shows up...

) at Madison Square Garden. The two fierce rivals will fly into New York after they are finished playing in Kuala Lumpur and Acapulco respectively in order to raise money for a charity of their choice. The quick, witty and FAIR Liezel Huber will be acting as the umpire in what should be a fun evening for all New Yorkers, barring a snowstorm. Liezel is often a crowd favorite at Flushing Meadows, and it only makes sense that she would volunteer to do this despite her lackluster results this year thus far. We only have to hope that Dominika and Laura live up to the billing and that Liezel is able to prevent WWIII from breaking out on the court at Madison Square Garden. More news to come about this exciting new exhibition.

The young and promising Brit who is already within Top 10 in the world, has been unable to win the first opening set in all of her matches this tournament, but maybe this is a pot of luck for the Brit, as she managed today to beat the reigning World No.1 in the Quarter-Finals in three sets, to advance through to the Quarter-Finals! If Laura keeps this performance going she could very well be seeing herself within the Top 4 in the world!! Chakvetadze stormed off court, and did not look best pleased!!
