Andrea. And she'll be on a televised court in the second round.

Re: AO R1: Andrea Hlavackova def. Patricia Mayr-Achleitner 7-5 6-4
I was very please to see Andrea take advantage of what was, let's face it, a very soft 1st round draw.
Let's be honest, Andrea has a nice game for grass and she is a very useful player indoors at the ITF 100/75k level. She is also comfortable on clay at ITF level, having grown up on clay. But hard courts are without doubt her worst surface so to get a Grand Slam 1st round win here is a big bonus for her. The 100 ranking points earned here will go a long way towards helping keep Andrea in the top 100 thoughout the year, something I think with smart scheduling she should be able to do.
Well done Andrea

I rather suspect she will get bulldozed but hopefully she enjoys it out there and gets a few good shots in as well. Having earned 100 ranking points this tournament whatever happens against Azarenka it will have been a successful tournament. And playing a quality top 10er like Azarenka should be a positive experience for her too. But I don't have a lot of expectations in terms of results or even scores.
