Australian Open 2011:Chin up Maria, there's still Mixed Dubs with Nenad :)
i know its a bit early to make a thread but...
repeat of last year please. i dont want to jinx her or anything, so the title is a bit generic. im hoping for a good draw like last year (minus a vengeful sharapova out for blood).

Re: Australian Open 2011: Melbourne Park
Oprandi, then Benesova/Medina, then Pavlyuchenkova and Zvonareva. It was hard to see ,so i'm not 100% sure but it seems that be that.

Re: Australian Open 2011: Melbourne Park
Zvonareva may get eliminated early, she plays Bojonovski in round 2 who is in great form! so she may not even play Maria in round 4.

Re: Australian Open 2011: Melbourne Park
Oprandi can be very annoying to play,so Maria will have to be concentrated...But it could have been worse, she has to win at least 2 matches.

Re: Australian Open 2011: Melbourne Park
Oh this is a fantastic draw, Pavlyuchenkova is about the easiest R3 draw she could have gotten R4 would be a wonderful result.

Re: Australian Open 2011: Melbourne Park
Maria should beat Oprandi, Oprandi won Caserta 2010...although Maria would win that tournament without a challenge . I think given how far she went into last years Aussie open..she will go in it this year very confident!

Re: Australian Open 2011: Melbourne Park
Who's Maria playing doubles with? Will she play mixed as well?

Re: Australian Open 2011: Melbourne Park
Azarenka I guess.. and who knows if she will play mixed this year after how her body started falling apart last year after playing so much. Maybe she will play with Zimonjić again he's in need of a partner now as Ivanovic was meant to play with him but decided against it cause of her injury. Or just Igor..
