To be blunt, who cares whether she has tweeted! To be honest her social media seems to be a greater priority to her than a tennis career going nowhere fast.

I thought her mixed doubles win in AO might have been the fillet to bring some confidence back in to her singles game. Well - quite the reverse.

Not sure where to from here for Jarka. I just think she needs a no nonense, well respected coach. The best and most successful coach/player relationships in tennis is where there is mutual respect, and the player is not solely dictating the agenda. It might be hard for Jarmila to attract anyone of suitable quality, however if it is a must if she wishes to turn her career around before it is too late. There is also the small issue of her mental strength and aptitude, but hey it is the WTA!

I also stand by my original comments - she is a downhill skier. Good when the going is good, but horrible when the chips are down. We will see over the next few month how much she wants it - but I expect she will probably find more excuses!

^I feel bad for Jarka that she's still struggling for form, but I'm inclined to agree with you about the tweets. It was understandable that she was tweeting a lot last year when she was going through a lot of crap, but she has to be careful it doesn't become a crutch.

It's not unusual for players to have insecurities, especially on the WTA, but in that case it's a lot better to try to find a coach she can really trust, so yeah, I guess I agree with you on that one as well.

This must be a very tough time for her, since she probably thought she had turned some kind of corner, only to slam straight into a brick wall again. Really important for her to remain positive and focused now, and get through this shit step by step. But that's a lot easier if you have a trusted team you can lean on.
