Yes me too.
I'm friends with her on facebook and i think she has a job in a hair-saloon so it's pretty doubtful unfortunately

Re: Disappeared players.
I thought Chladkova attempted a comeback and gave it up again. Can't remember where I read that. Probably here.

Re: Disappeared players.
What happened to Sabine Klaschka? I remember playing brilliantly at 2005 Wimbledon and then I haven't heard anything from her since.

She's more a journey woman .
She has so much talented and but she isnt professional enough to practice enough or to play more tournaments.
She's the whole opposite of her sister Carmen, she always works very hard but Carmen doesnt have the talent of Sabine

Re: Disappeared players.
Julia Abe Any player should know what happened to her, you know, she had friends for sure, and people realized she'd dissapeared. So I guess she had personal problems (family, health...), left tennis and that was it.
Denisa I remember she was dating her old coach

Re: Disappeared players.
Maybe Cocheteaux started hating herself after what happened with Lexy. Or maybe Samantha Stevenson made it look like Cocheteaux had an unfortunate accident that injured her for life Well she probably is capable

Re: Disappeared players.
Interesting topic! I'm afraid I don't really have anything of note to contribute, but I remember these players...
Cocheteux had (has!) exactly the same birthday as me (aah, outing my age here ) and I remember vaguely (but not that much) (sorry Amelie!) following her career for precisely that reason.
I remember Louise Latimer's red hair (oh, and she played a good match against Anke Huber at Wimbledon one year).
The Julia Abe situation seems quite strange. I used to watch tennis on German TV at the time and I was familiar with her from their coverage. I'm reminded of some of the other German players from around that time: Andrea Glass, Bianka Lamade... (And now I can't get any tennis on TV at all, not really!! :tantrum: )
Oh yes, and Chladkova too: didn't she make Wimb QF one year? (I apologise if this has been mentioned: I've had a somewhat sickly few days... )
