Any whiny pathetic song with the main subject of love, broken hearts and other sentimental crap is worshiped That's not bad, of course, sing about whatever you want but today every song sounds exactly the same as every other song, there's no originality it seems, of course there are exceptions that bring fresh good music to scene but that's not the subject of the thread

I agree with the one that said "Hey Soul Sister". That is pretty terrible too. But Train's new shit isn't all bad. "Save Me San Francisco" I like a lot.

It pains me to nominate this as I really love this band, but "Catalyst" by Linkin Park. What the hell has become of these guys? They used to write great rock songs, songs with good choruses. Their new stuff, Flo Rida could rap over the top and you'd never know it was once Linkin Park.

I'm so glad to see so much hate for "Just The Way You Are". It's absolutely irritating and horrendous.

Also, anything by generic Nickelback sound-a-likes that seemed to be played on the radio here in Canada every second song or so. They're so generic I could never tell any of them apart.

Yes. At last someone calls out the awful Glee-sters for mangling everything they set their vocal chords to. *smh* They are as annoying as Bieber and Ke$ha are to me. I'd like to put forward Nicki Minaj's 'You See Right Through Me'. Hearing: "How do you do that shi*t?" repeated ad infinitum is not my idea of fun.

Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" actually makes me cringe and I agree with everyone who can see it for the utterly fake, cloying, sentimental crap that it is. Billionaire and just about anything that Travis does is flat-out irritating. "I've got the Magic in Me." Ugh.

I'd be annoyed by Taylor ... the one that Kanye was oh-so-mean to, if I could actually remember any of her songs. But there should be a special award set aside for singers who are insipid and dull, yet hugely successful. The Katy Perry phenomenon escapes me when her songs all her songs are so damn bubble gum and annoying. Miley Cyrus?
