I actually liked the 3rd episode a bit more than the 2nd. The racism and sexism may be a little over the top, but these are people trying to just survive, so I figure some of the conflict and their reactions will be extreme.
And even though they only showed one zombie, the camp setting lends itself to be more suspenseful as a zombie can appear at any moment. The only real suspenseful moment in episode 2 was when they walked camouflaged among the zombies...otherwise, it's just hundreds of zombies wondering aimlessly through the streets of Atlanta while the survivors are in a building.
I think it's good the 3rd episode is the way it is, great opportunity for character development and build-up for subsequent episodes. Of course, we all expect a certain amount of gore, but I would like to think the show is good because they don't use it senselessly. The show is good because it takes a lot of good looks at various aspects of human nature. And this is a TV series: it needs pacing. If all I want is gore and senseless action, there's Resident Evil.
Way to totally get rid of so many camp people
Wonder how the walkers knew where the camp was...the alarm car? Although they said in the previous episode something about echo-ing through the whole mountain..
What happened to Merle?
He "likely" took the van...and Darryl said he'd mount a "revenge".....
I thought he would be the one to kill the camp people..not the walkers
I understand it must be devastating to have your sister get killed by zombies, but should you really sob hysterically right over her corpse? Isn't it just asking to have her corpse reanimate and bite you?
No. I guess in this story it takes some time before dead humans reanimate as zombies.
I know it was just part of the story, but you would think they would have someone watching for walkers every night, and more defenses like tripwires that make noise so that they can't get ambushed so badly.
But I suppose it's part of the story, and it was pretty awesome to see a massive zombie attack!
Summary pls . I can't get on The main site on my iPhone
donest support Adobe.
Umm, why don't you just watch the show? What's the fun of reading a summary on the internet?
The redneck escaped by cutting his hand off. The search party that went to find the redneck was ambushed by a gang, and the gang took the Korean guy hostage. The search party gave the gang half of their guns in exchange for the Korean guy, but it turned out that the gang wasn't so bad. The search party went back to their vehicle to go back to camp, but the vehicle was gone. They assume the redneck found it and took it. They walk back to camp, where they find a horde of zombies attacking everyone. Many people get bitten and/or killed before they can kill all the zombies.
