Just curious as to what our attitude towards Maxim is supposed to be....On the one hand,we certainly can't blame him for falling in love with Lena.Also,the fact that she has been with him for so long must say at least SOMEthing about his character,right?I've never heard any comments on Lena,even in re her early 20s,where she showed pure,unadulterated shitty taste in men...a` la Vaidisova or Ana.I couldn't even picture Elena with say,Verdasco,even if Dumb-ass learned Russian by some miracle...and I can't imagine Lena chatting with Roddick in ANY language...monosyllabic convo would bore her,I think.
Having said all that,Maxim is no less than slightly responsible for Elena's retirement,so I could understand if there were some hard feelings towards him...not that I share them

None, he is obviously who lena wants to be with, she can't play pro tennis all her life and its what she wants.
