July 5-10, Championships of Sopot, Sopot, Germany (Clay)
Sopot and Danzig, now both in Poland, are 2 different towns, about seven miles away.
If the tournament was "Championships of Sopot" was held in Sopot evidently.

Sopot is a part of Gdansk (Danzig) agglomeration. Before the World War II Gdansk and surrounding areas had a status of a free city - a semi-autonomous city-state, and this tournament had a name "The Free City of Gdansk (Freie Stadt Danzig) Championships" and it was played in Sopot. Although Sopot was no longer on a German territory after 1920, in German sources this event was still called incorrectly "The Championships of Eastern Germany".

Re: 1925 results
In section 124 above, and in other threads, (J.)P. Buss = Johann Philipp Buss, a player from Mannheim.
This player was not related to Annemarie Buss who was from Bremen.

Mark... it's useless for you to write that LKK is right and then you don't correct your wrong result!
Elfi von Kriegs-Au was born in 1915, therefore her mother Tilda played in this tournament.
FI: Baroness Tilda von Kriegs-Au d. Frau Dery (HUN) 6-0, 2-6, 6-1

Re: 1925 results
The entry for the German Championships in section 19 above needs to be deleted.

--
DF: Mieken Galvao/Ellen Hoffmann d. Irma Kallmeyer/Nelly Stephanus 7-5, 6-3
