how long has anna been working with him?? cos having googled him all i can find is that he was coach to wozniak??
was impressed with his calm relaxed approach when talking to her in the final tonight. seems like they have a good bond.

Re: cristian cordasz
i watched her practice in birmingham and thats where you would expect to see him trying to guide her, but he wasn't there. so either at wimbledon or straight after i would suspect they started together.
hes doing a great job of calming anna down and getting her to play some good tennis, thumbs up so far.

Re: cristian cordasz
They seem to have a good relationship. And he was saying all the right things to her during the final.
Anna was never a fan of the on-court coaching before. I'm guessing it's his idea to come on court now. It really seems to be benefiting her.
Her WTA biog still says she's coached by José Clavet.

She seems to have a different Argentine coach at Wimbledon. Dont know when the current one appeared. He looks like Brad Gilbert and I hope he can coach like him. Actually, he looks a bit like Maradona as well.

Re: cristian cordasz
whenever their relationship started, i hope it continues.
his chats with her during matches im sure helped her tons in sticky situations. and they seem to have a ball together - they're always laughing and smiling, and they even have a little handshake haha.

Re: cristian cordasz
He seems to be a calming influence to Anna.
And their little secret handshake is so cute!
If he is the reason for the resurgent Chak Attack, I owe that man a BIG THANK YOU!

^ Thanks for these GIFs, GeorgianFan.
omg I love Anna!
BTW any more info about Cristian Cordasz?
He seems good for Anna.
When I saw his face I was like
Because he looked so much younger, when he came on court and you couldn`t see his face.

Re: cristian cordasz
Wozniak's coach is back
http://communities.canada.com/montre...h-is-back.aspx
Quote:
While we were quite surprised to see Cristian Kordasz, the coach of Aleksandra Wozniak, on court with Anna Chakvetadze in Copenhagen last week, he's back at Wozniak's side here in Montreal.
Wozniak told Open Court that Chakvetadze had needed someone to help her for a few weeks, and the original coach ended up getting sick, so Kordasz filled in.
Tennis Canada conditioning coach André Parent accompanied Wozniak on that tour of Stanford, San Diego and Cincinnati that ended up being aborted because of her bout with forearm tendonitis.
On the coaching front, there are a few more changes (aren't there always, with the women?)
Wozniak's previous coach/hitting partner, Rob Steckley, went from Wozniak to Heidi El Tabakh as a hitting partner.
It seems the chemistry just wasn't there. It didn't last long.
El Tabakh is with her brother in Montreal this week, who has been working with the juniors at the national training centre in Montreal the last couple of weeks.
Steckley has hooked up with Indian player Sania Mirza through the U.S. Open.
And Sharon Fichman, who had called it quits with coach Matt Baccarani, is back on track with him.
