Lucic already in Birmingham, training hard for next tournaments!

Mirjana Lucic had an amazing clay season. Like two big titles in Charleston and Rome were not good enough, Lucic had to add Roland Garros title. Few days have past since glorious moment where she defeated Jelena Janković 8-6 in third set after saving 2 match points. Hardworking Croat is already in Birmingham, getting ready for grass season:





Feelings from Paris? Amzing of course, I knew that I had it in me but on the other hand when I decided to make a comeback in March I didn't thought that I would be this good that fast. It all kind off clicked in Charleston and I got the self confidente that I needed. Now I'm 6th in the rankings and I missed so many tournaments, that means I can only get higher and that's the thing I'm really excited about. This week in Birmingham I will just try to feel the grass a bit, nothing serious. I'm just gonna play the sport I love and that gave me so much. Next week I'll be in Eastbourne and than my favourite tournament, Wimbledon. I would like to do as good on grass as I did on clay but that wont be easy. But finally I can say I have everything I ever wanted and every next match is not important, I can just go out there and have fun.
