Wimbledon R1: Schiavone vs Dushevina WWW?
Can anyone see where this can go wrong?  Dushevina likes the grass..I can see Franny, the RG champion bowing out tomorrow...

Dushevina is good enough skillwise to make this a match, and I think she probably will. But she is horrible trying to close out matches against big names. Horrible. Thing is with all the rotten draws she has gotten in her career one would think she would have gotten a handle of it by now but see her matches this year against Sharapova and Serena Williams for confirmation that she still seems to have an inability to stick the final nail into her opponent.
I see Fran winning this in 3.

Has Dushevina ever got ANY kind of big win ever? I can think of quite a few near-misses she's had, but I honestly can't think of a single time she actually closed out against anything approaching a big name, at any tournament.

Actually she does have a few big, well kinda biggish, wins yes. Mauresmo when she was world number 1 being by far the biggest, five years ago. After that, well she has a few wins over Zvonereva and Kirilenko and lots and lots of wins over Bartoli. But only one of her wins over Marion and only one of her wins of Vera Z were when they were top 20 players and none when they were top 10. Wins over Jankovic and Ivanovic but before they were top 10.
Infact besides the Mauresmo win the only other top 10 win I could find was when she beat #10 ranked Petrova 5-7 1-0 ret. at Eastbourne last year, not exactly the most impressive of top 10 wins.
