Will wimbledon scheduing be more fair to women this time?
All the other slams have pretty much fair scheduling for both men and women. Wimbledon has always been notoriously bad in favouring ATP over WTA ( the rise of Mugray hasnt helped ). Will they have a better scheduling this year? I hope so..

Re: Will wimbledon scheduing be more fair to women this time?
The day on the half Murray plays, no. They'd put Nadal/Fed and Murray on Centre, meaning only one women's match on Centre.
Now, if Serena and Maria are in the same half without Caro, Kim, or Justine, and dont play the same day as Murray, they might get Centre maybe twice before the QF's

If I remember correctly, many days they schedule 2 men and 1 women match on center court.. Venus almost never plays on center court until later rounds

Re: Will wimbledon scheduing be more fair to women this time?
Federer won't move from CC since he's Federer and Wimbledon loves him and also, he;s the defending champion. Murray will not set foot on another court since he's a Scot. Nadal probably won't move since he didn't come back to defend his title last year. You can guarantee that the day Murray plays that there will only be one women's match on CC since Fed or Nadal will have to play as well.
If the likes of Kim, Justine, Maria and Serena/Venus show up on one side of the draw, you would have to hope that they play the day Murray is not playing to have more than one match on CC.

Re: Will wimbledon scheduing be more fair to women this time?
Simple solution start at 12.00
same time as other courts and all those have 4 matches on it, plus this way outside courts wont have all those idiotic snobs from 12-1pm

So why don't they start at 12 then already?

Because the All England Club is run by a bunch of old men who need their lunch before they watch any tennis.

I wouldn't think so, I honestly can't imagine the organisers putting either Murray, Nadal or Federer any other court but CC.

I don't want to watch Serena or Venus routing the world #166 on Centre Court either. How about some contests on the major courts?

It is not as if Federer will be facing any major challengers in rd 1 either

Well at least Serena will be on CC in R1 as the defending Champ. After that she'll be lucky to see it again until the QFs

If a brit is playing a top 5 seed then yes, I think that match will be put on CC. But even if their playing say Wozniacki, I guess they'd probably be put on C1 or C2. (Even if she is #3)
