I was watching a bit of the Aegon Championships and I don't really see why Sam wouldn't do well. All that she's accomplished this year on clay could be just the thing to have prepared her for grass. Other than the issue of her kick serve being dampened, it seems like she would have an advantage with how much spin she puts on the ball and how low the ball will bounce. I think she's also really good at returning low balls as well and it allows her to really pick it up and put spin on it. That being said, I've never played on grass or clay, so really, I don't know what I'm talking about. I just REALLY want to see Sam do well, but as the motto goes, one match at a time.
