be warned! Arn is a lot better than you might think based on her ranking/past results! She has a rly strong serve and hit something like 25 W to 14 UE against Molik and gave the impression that she never even made a mistake!

Yeah,that's what I posted on the previous page(post #116)....Arn has these occasional fluke runs where she plays well above her ranking level...and then she drops back to normal.She made the Warsaw semis from qualifying a little over a month ago...and her only title was won when she ran thru qualies,too

Nice win. Not too great but very solid. Kulikova or Pironkova next, surely Marion should be able to beat both of them... Ill post my fears for a match vs. Venus after her 4th round, cus I dont want to jinx Marion

Kulikova is quite good. She beat Alisa here last year. But Marion has never played her.
3-0 Pironkova.
This is just the sixth time Marion has reached the second week of a major, which makes it even better. And people can talk about cakewalk draws all they want. Marion has beaten Justine, Jelena and Lindsay at the slams, and had to play Kim at the US early on last year.

Pironkova takes the first set... I'd prefer Marion to play her because at least Marion knows what to expect and has beaten her everytime they played before, and since Kulikova is very much an unknown quantity.
