Bartoli vs Rezai = cat fighting?
This time, Bartoli in two. Needs a compensation for the Bali retirement.

Well,Marion's match is tomorrow....I can't really tell what kind of PERSON her nemesis Dushevina is...b/c her English isn't very good. However,I'd be delighted to cheer our Marion to victory......and then console a depressed Vera with a nice massage in the hot tub afterwards

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
Marion is playing Dushevina? Although Marion has improved immensely since many of those matches were played and Dushevina is a renowned choker so hope for a QF at least here.

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
Straight sets win over Dushevina 6-4 7-5
Very encouraging result for Marion
Next opponent: Govortsova or Szavay

Yes,I agree on both counts....It's always good when you can open a tourney by defeating a nemesis...and Olga & Agnes are both erratic, though talented, players.I suppose that Szavay is the bigger threat but Marion is better than either,IMO

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
Decent win
I hope she goes deep enough to afford a good show on a TV court before next week or Im going to miss her best tennis of the year! Won't be anywhere near my TV this Summer and I need Marion to finally play her real tennis.
She has an interesting draw till SF, it would already be nice to see her again at this step. And then, who knows? She's too good not to have a title on grass.

Re: Eastbourne and Wimbledon
Lets hope Maria Jose does us a favour and takes out Bepa. Even though shes not the player she was, and its grass, I'd still worry about her. I think Marion could take Wozniacki on grass. Same goes for Rezai.

She should beat Szavay on grass.
