Nuts! Then she would be the onliest player pressurised in this case and she isn't even a Top10. There are some hotter and better players living their (true and faked) relationships open (Top5)

Re: Sabine Fans Chat Thread

For me it useless to make too many mental problems about Sabine. We should accept her as it is and enjoy it when she wins.
And of course:

"Traveling up and down the Rankings with Sabine Lisicki" (Ziva quote).

Re: Sabine Fans Chat Thread

Re: Sabine Fans Chat Thread

Interesting conversation to read. It sure is a quiet time of late for Sabine fans and not only due to her lack of tennis matches but also the fact that she is just generally low key, we can only speculate as the reasons...

Anyway it's Sabine's 23rd birthday in 5 days and I'm looking forward to that. I want to celebrate her and all the nice things about her, her undoubted talent, her fighting spirit, her radiant and beautiful smile, happy laugh, playfulness and generally her beauty and not just focus on her current problems in the WTA.

There are better players we have to admit, but hotter players than Bine don't exist imo Who are they then? Noone captivates and intrigues me like Bine. Sharapova, Ivanovic or whoever don't match her charm or 'hotness'.

Re: Sabine Fans Chat Thread

OK, so she has climbed back up to 31 by default, but seeing Mike mentioning her birthday, I think it's important to note that she's still young and developing

The other 32 players who make up the top 33, have an average age of 25 Years 10 Months, so Sabine still has time on her side to rectify the weaker aspects of her Tennis

Re: Sabine Fans Chat Thread

At start of the season, I was fully convinced that Sabine was soon in the top 10. It was not for the reasons we all know. I agree with you Beaumont, Sabine is still young and I think she still has time to improve on his tennis and come back to great levels.

Re: Sabine Fans Chat Thread

I'm just going to trust Sabine's judgement as far as when she's ready to play. Only she and her team knows the full extent of her injuries and what advice she's been given to overcome them. If she's decided to train and practice rather than play tournaments then I'm sure it'll be for a good reason and the facilities at IMG contain everything she could want for, much more than some far flung tournament. I hope her new birthday brings her some good luck, and to those who doubt her focus, as I'm a Virgo too, I'd say there can be too much focus, analysis and intensity, but never too little.

one of my favorite song when i was in choir <ave virgo>, sort of fit here for bine

Quote:
[ave virgo sanctissima]
maris stella clarissima
salve semper gloriosa
actually three very beautiful lines are omitted from the hymn

Quote:
margarita pretiosa
sicut lilium formosa
nitens olens velut rosa

Thank you, we do seem to think alike judging from your other posts.

And thank you TimeyWimey for the birthday wishes and beautiful song. I missed out on choir but did do Italian opera exercises on the long road to becoming a contemporary singer.

I found some lyrics that made more sense than the Google Tranny model, though you really need to hear them sung. Lastly, I'm not quite sure about Sabs and Tigger, but Kerber as Eeyore?

Ave Virgo Sanctissima
Dei mater piisima
Maris stella clarissima
Salve semper gloriosa
Margarita pretiosa
Sicut lilium formosa
Nitens olens velut rosa

Hail, Holy Virgin
most blessed Mother of God
bright star of the sea
Hail ever glorious
precious pearl
lovely as the lily
beautiful and perfumed as the rose

Sei gegrüßet, heiligste Jungfrau
hochgesegnete Mutter Gottes
hellster Meeresstern
Sei gegrüßet, allzeit Ruhmreiche
kostbare Perle
schön wie die Lilie
prächtig und wohlriechend wie die Rose
