Re: Tournament; NCAA 2010 DOUBLES

Wouldn't it be 32, since it's a 32-field tournament?

form posted that conferences with a ranked pair (or player, for the singles) get a place in the draw. So we can expect to see pairs like no. 37 Holly Dowse / Emma Hayman (College of Charleston) in the draw. I think.

If I was going to guess and take the players with multiple doubles rankings in top 32 and only use that persons best ranked team and eliminate the others, this would be my prediction on the individual doubles.

Re: Tournament; NCAA 2010 DOUBLES

I don't know what will happen to Pluskota/Whoriskey. Pluskota missed most of the dual season, and now Whoriskey is teaming up with

Sorbello.

Same goes to Fresno St. Petukhova wasn't operational, so Kucerkova had to team up with another player.

Just too bad

And watch out for Remynse/Schnack. They just annihilated the pac-10 opponents at Ojai, including the

Indoors champ Barte/Burdette.

(Granted Andersson/Juricova didn't play, but still)

And Bek/Hadziselimovic always defeats Gilchrist/Gullickson, it's funny

I dont want to sound like a homer but Michigan's No. 1 doubles team which is ranked No. 19 and has won 15 matches in a row, I think is very under-rated. I will be anxious to see how they do against Tennessee's No. 1 ranked team of Whoriskey/Pluskota on Thursday when they play them.

Re: Tournament; NCAA 2010 DOUBLES

Well the TENN duo does lack match time due to Pluskota's recent comback, so who knows.

But when they occupy the net area, game ended. Expect spectacular volleys ( a lot of them BH) from them

Would someone that knows what they are talking about please comment on how the draws are put together?
