Let's hope Marseille will be the place where things start getting better for Dijana's 2011 campaign (0-3 in singles so far this year). She'll play qualies of a 100k there, and couldn't really have asked for a better QR1 draw; M. Peral of France, 2 years younger and so far never ranked. Last year Dijana won a round here so she'll have to win at least two matches to actually benefit in terms of ranking, but considering her recent results, I think points are not the most important thing at the moment.
She tumbles down the rankings a bit this week, but wins the first quali round in Marseille. Although winning 3:6, 6:3, 6:1, against a kid who's never been ranked is a bit too close for comfort, it's nice to see her at least win a match finally. Next she'll face the 3rd seed S. Werner.
