Close to top 100 but never made it (players with best ranking from 101 to 110)
Breaking the top 100 has always been hard and I would try to make a list of the past and current players who never reached the top 100, having a personal best between 101 and 110), the 101 is almost a disgusting place to have, I remember Bethanie Mattek and Stéphanie Dubois being close for a long long time before breaking...
From the past I do remember Tessa Price from South Africa at #101...

I thought Marosi broke into the top 100?
Barbara Mulej got very close, I know she got to at least 112.
Also though Drake Brockman got slightly higher than 109

Omg how embarrasing Julie Richardson was something like the 3rd highest ranked kiwi player ever!
...and yet she never made the top 100  (although to be fair she seemed to focus more on doubles) |

Louise Latimer was about 107 i think, and one win away from the top 100. Shame she never quite made it  |

I believe Sabine Lisicki won't be a member of the "101-110club" anymore after her 1st round win in Berlin!
Monica Niculescu is a new entrant at #108. Yanina Wickmayer, Katie O'Brien, Julia Goerges, Olivia Sanchez and Anne Keothavong are good prospects.

Yes, Fedossova makes a good example. I was so sure she would break top 100 with ease and now she is on the way of falling of top 200  .
