Re: From green to red clay
She got it together when facing 2 set points at 5-2* 15-40, started hitting better and making way less stupid errors. She complained to the umpire at *5-3 about the light, and saved a further set point which Sanchez really should have taken. She complained again at the changeover but Sanchez agreed this time so Marion to serve to stay in the set tomorrow.

Re: From green to red clay
Thanks!!!
Bon it seems we should expect the same kind of stuff than against Pauline last year. I really hope she reaches that 3rd round again... even though Shahar is always ready to kick her ass :x

After starting out 0-5 H2H,Marion has won 2 of the last 3....Shahar has had a good season, but this is do-able if Marion plays well..........assuming she gets past Sanchez,of course

Re: From green to red clay
it wasn't THAT bad... i mean, Sanchez was playing as well as she can play and Marion below her average and it was still *4-5 when play suspended.
I think this break will really help Marion, and hopefully she's really ready tomorrow...

Re: From green to red clay
Fight Marion!
I think she'll lose to Peer if she does win today but a 3rd showing isn't too bad.

Re: From green to red clay
Great that she won, dont expect her to beat Shahar but she did win 9/10 games today so she mustve played well. Any ranking points gained this year would go a long way for her considering her Wimbledon seeding and a lot of the top 10 dropping out of it.
