one good thing about caro is that she is very versatile in the fact that she doesnt really play better on one surface than the other however i feel if she is going to win a grand slam it would be Roland Garros, on the faster surfaces players like Serena or Maria completely overpower her

She will almost certainly win a grandslam. Mental fortitude is a dangerous weapon amongst a group of mostly mentally weak individuals. And I hope Caro wins her 1st without hitting a single winner. It'd be fun to read about half of Tennis Forum spontaneously combusting.

she's reached number 2 in the world. no one gifted her that rank--she worked day in and day out and got the wins to get her there.

she's a lot like Kim was before her U.S. Open breakthough after YEARS on the tour. now Kim is a force, particularly on hardcourts and has two Grand Slams and people actually talk about her in the same breath as Serena, Venus and Justine--all of whom are substantially more accomplished.

she will need to be playing lights out tennis, get a great draw and then have the other top players off their game a bit to get a Slam. can you say Myskina?

I do think she is overrated. I just don't think she has anything 'special' about her game, that makes me go damn that was good.
But hey she made it to #2, so I guess she's doing something right

Roland Garros? Caro has only 2 top 20 wins on clay in her career, one of which was on green clay. She has 1 top 20 win in 9 red clay tournaments played in 2008 and 2009.
