Lost set means nothing. If she lost, we would be more woried. Today she lost only six games to van der Meet. A month ago she wouldn't even win a set.
She was on a losing streak since a few months so as I said this win over Cirstea was huge for her.

During her three matches of qualies, she made a total of 6 aces and 12 double faults (only 2 in her last match against Al Nabhani).

She wasn't bageled by girl but by herself.
She have to concentrate on tennis to reach her targets.

Disappointing loss for Magda but making it to the semifinals is still a very good performance, as at the beginning, her draw seemed pretty tough.
And at least, she has defended 24 of the 34 points she earned last year

Now she has almost no point to defend until... French Open I guess? If she continues to play better and better (because she played well the last few weeks), she will be able to be back into top 200. She should play again some 25k's first.

She's going to enter Bratislava MD next week as a Special Exempt now, isn't she?
