I hope Zheng can scrape a few more games when they come back out. I won't be too disappointed when she loses though, as I don't want her to play Jankovic, I don't like it when my favs are right next to eachother in the draw.

Is to be one of Razzano's improbable surges at a tournament? She's seemingly guaranteed one every year.
Quite strange that she was able to muster such a convincing victory. Gamestyle wise, Zheng is a nightmare match up for the Frenchwoman.

I don't think Zheng can disrupt Razzano's rhythm all that much, precisely due to the reason you mentioned -- Razzano's timing is questionable regardless of how fast her opponent plays. Besides, Virginie herself insists on taking the ball on the rise and has a far more potent serve than Jie.
This could be the case of Zheng facing a bigger and more powerful, albeit slower, version of herself, imo.
