Re: Maia Lumsden
Maia likewise yet to drop a set and faces the equally dominant conqueror of Jazzi, French person Theo Gravouil, in the semi.
EDIT: yeah, sorry, there was a very poorly executed implied reference to the Taylor thread there. As Chris says, we're talking about the Junior Orange Bowl.

Re: Maia Lumsden
Maia has been very impressive this week, and in all honesty, has the beating of the other semifinalists.

Re: Maia Lumsden
Another straight set win and she's through to the final to face her friend, Gabriella Taylor. What a great week for British tennis!

Re: Maia Lumsden
After the long winter of British women's tennis, is a thaw coming at last?
Malta Marsa, G4
Final
Maia LUMSDEN (GBR) [5] 6-3 6-2 Melissa Ishuan IFIDZHEN (RUS)
(OT except to my theme, Katie Dyson won the doubles.)
Turns out there are two low grade ITF juniors in Malta this year; the past few years the venues have alternated, but this year they're both being played. Maia is 2nd on the acceptance list for the follow-up G5 (San Michel) next week, although many of the other Brits that played this week's event are skipping it.
