WOW How weird, Classics is diverse! That was my second choice subject! However, it seems a bit strange to go from doing a Classics degree to doing a Law degree. What made you go from one end of the spectrum to the other, in a sense?

Are Classics and Law really any more different than Classics and Psychology?? I'd always wanted to go into Law from a practical point of view but wanted to do my degree on something that was actually interesting! You're right though, Classics is quite diverse...

Well as Veemac said...basically the study of the ancient world - more specifically Ancient Greece and Rome. It's a very broad field really.

Not how I imagined Uranium would look, but still cute. I thought he was a female. But people said the same about me

Classics is not just Greek and Roman literature but history, archaeology and philosophy, too! It has a bit of everything!

Re: Official thread Venus fans' pictures :) Pictures of you.
Well just to add to the pot, when i was younger (12 and younger)i was OBSESSED with Greek mythology. I would read books, encyclopedias, go online, watch tv shows or movies if they had a greek theme... Was also fascinated Roman and Egyptian mythology and history. My favourite Goddess was Athena and sorry to say but i hated Aphrodite/Venus cuz i thought she was a slvt
oh and i'm studying law (i have 9 days left). So we are all really clones of each other.
