Who will break into the top 100? Updated - Week of Nov 8th
How many players do you think will break into the top 100 for the first time until the end of 2010?
I opened a thread last year about the players who has a chance getting into the top 100 untill the end of the season.
Even though it was too late then 2 players got into the top 100.
Already made it this year:

Last year 16 players broke into the top 100 for the 1st time. They were, Zahlavova, Chang, Mayr, O'Brien, Baltacha, Martic, Sevastova, Voegele, Malek, Ula Radwanska, Hercog, Hradecka, Dulgheru, Oudin, Larcher de Brito and South. All but the last two are still there.
I can also see there were at least another 14 players who were previously ranked in the top 100 but finished 2008 outside that ranking who broke back into the top 100 in 2009, those include Parra-Santonja, Sprem, Kutuzova, Flipkins, King, Rodina, Goerges, Brianti, Olaru, Date-Krumm, Dokic, Petkovic, Czink and Clijsters.
And I would say that this was pretty typical. Basically for this year I think we can expect more of the same, in other words, at least another 15 or so players to break into the top 100 for the 1st time this year and a total turnover of about 30%. In other words 30% of the current top 100 will most likely drop out by the end of the this year, give or take one or two. Of the 10 players listed I expect most to crack the top 100 at some point this year. Out of those 10, I'd say there are 4 dead certs, Pervak, Tetreault, Fichman and Jovanovski and i'd give all the others anything from a 50% shot to an 80% shot.
Anyway, to answer the poll question, 10+ positively.

Johanna Larsson I think has a good chance, if she stays injury free.

Re: Who will break into the top 100 until the end of 2010?
Renata Voracova is the only one playing this week, 25K in Sutton.
Next week, many of the above will play in Midland (100K) and Cali (75K).

The thread is about the girls who reach top 100 for the first time, I believe.

Voracova has been ONE win away at least 3 times. I think she's destined not to break top100.

Re: Who will break into the top 100 until the end of 2010?
Updated after February.
Both Canadians is in continuous raising.
So far this week, Voracova, Tetreault and Woerle lost in Monterrey Qualifying.
Manasieva is the top seed in 25K at Minsk and Kustova is the second seed in 25K at Hammond.
Good luck!
